The Honesty bar

The café atelier invites conviviality and spontaneity. A large daybed acts as a sofa. The armchairs and coffee tables are art objects created especially for the hotel. The living room is the meeting place for all the regulars of the Academy of Arts. An honesty bar welcomes travelers and neighboring artists for breakfast, tea ,or an aperitif. Everyone is free to prepare and keep a tab of his or her's own beverage. A menu of savory and sweet pies is available.

Breakfast

For breakfast, the café atelier goes every morning to Maison M'Seddi, the local bakery for organic bread and pastries. The coffee comes from the Parisian roaster Lomi. As for the morning sweets such as, madeleines, cannelés, and brownies, they come from pastry chef Kevin Lacoste. On the savory side, there is ham from Gilles Verot, smoked salmon and a cheese plate.

A place of exhibition

The hotel, faithful to its history, is a protector of the arts. Works by young artists are acquired regularly. Their work is highlighted by exhibitions within the hotel. Travelers can purchase them. The workshop café is a creative space open to all. It is both a bar open all day long that brings together the hotel's guests and local artists, but also a workshop where anyone can come and try their hand at sketching.

The Applied Arts

L'Hôtel des Académies et des Arts has dedicated a workshop space for its artist friends. Accessible from the lounge, a workshop with a large table and art materials are available to those who wish to come and paint or draw. Introductory and advanced courses in applied arts are organized jointly with the Academy of Fine Arts: academic drawing, sketching, sculpture, and photography.
